Development Permit Approval Has Been Issued!

The team at Yallarah are thrilled to announce that construction will commence shortly, following the exciting news that our Development Permit Approval has been issued by the Campaspe Shire Council.

“This is a big milestone for Yallarah and Echuca, being the first masterplanned community in the region, and the first parcel of land with an approved planning permit in the recently gazetted Echuca West Precinct Structure Plan,” says Wel.Co’s Head of Residential Development (VIC & SA), Robert Hondromatidis.

Read on to learn more about what this exciting step means for Yallarah.

What is the Development Permit Approval?

The planning permit is the seal of conditional approval from all relevant authorities, consenting to the development. “Having this permit drives surety to the customers of Yallarah,” says Robert.

The Development Permit Approval outlines the conditions from all authorities on what must be satisfied in order to deliver the development in stages. It can take around 18 months for the permit to be issued – a lengthy process between all relevant authorities and the developer.
